get to know me

i’m melinda davis.

I have had a passion for decorating since I was a young girl. Decorating my Grandmother’s formal living room (we weren’t allowed to go into), to my playhouse my Grandfather built for me with real carpet and my Easy Bake Oven. My Grandfather was a Contractor and he would take me out to the jobsite.

I started my Design Business window dressing for shops in Hanford which led to merchandising entire boutiques and shops. From there I started working in people’s homes and by word of mouth my Christmas decorating business and interior decorating took off.

My business is and has always been based on being accessible to everyone.

My services span from a refresh, rearrange and add new color with paint or pillows and accessories to full remodeling or building a new home.

I have added downsizing to my services. As assistance to families moving their loved ones into an apartment or Senior Living. I assist with the daunting task of what to keep and help with keeping cherished heirlooms around them and recreating “home” in their new space.

Project Management for remodeling within the home scheduling my fantastic and dependable professionals and overseeing trades while designing with my clients all aspects - paint, flooring, tile, appliances, lighting plan and space planning.
